I started Guitar in Tune as a hobby in March 2004. My goal is to give from the perspective of a hobby, an honest and professional advise to the fellow guitar player. For many years I am a great fan of the guitar and everything around this magnificent instrument.
I am not the best in playing the guitar, but because of the combination of my playing skills and technical skills I have the possibility to bring a guitar (back) in optimal shape and keep it there.
By building my own electrical guitars I have been introduced to all sorts of technical ways to build and modify guitar parts. This has given me a wide view in the challenges one is facing when building and repairing its own instrument.
By means of this website I want to bring the guitar in to the reach of as many as possible guitar players. I do this with advice, hints and ideas, and help where appropriate.
